Public transport connection of the new Brno Railway station
Bartoň, Daniel ; Pavlíček, Jan (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the availability of the new Main Railway Station in Brno, its transfer to other location, modernization or reconstruction and its connection to the public transport system. It focuses in particular on the public transport in Brno affected by the transfer of the railway station and on regional passenger railway transport in the vicinity of Brno. It describes, evaluates and assesses various variants of the transfer of the new railway station in terms of time savings for passengers traveling through the Main Railway Station and their source or destination of travel is in Brno or in the vicinity of Brno. The most suitable appears variant B - the transfer of the station under Petrov.
Comparison of effort on roller skis without load and with carried load
Sprinz, Matúš ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Comparision of loads during movement on the roller skis with or without additional weight Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the changes in heart rate (HR), VO2 and energy expenditure (EE) when moving on roller skis with or without weight in different inclinations in a laboratory conditions. Methods: A randomised cross-over study was conducted on 10 male students of Military Department at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University (mean±SD: age 22.6±1.59 years, weight 76.8±5.55 kg, height 180.2±2.4 cm). The study was performed in a biomedical laboratory at the University, José Martího 269, 162 52, Prague. Each volunteer underwent two tests on treadmill ergometer using modified roller skis. The tests consisted of 15 minutes walking at a constant speed 3 km/h, incline started at 15% and was raised by 5% every 5 minutes. Once out of two times, volunteers carried an additional weight of 15 kg backpack in random order. Significance level was set to p < 0.05 and the data were processed using analysis of repeated mesurements (ANOVA). Results: Results show that the energy demands are substantionally higher with the additional weight. Shown as mean difference between weight and weight-free groups. At 15% incline - HR 13.9%, VO2 17.9%, EE 18.6%. At 20% incline the...

Refine the prediction process for the software Combatfit
Štefanský, Michal ; Michalička, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kubový, Petr (referee)
Title: Refine the prediction process for the software Combatfit Aim: Find more accurate method to predict for the need of software Combatfit. Compare software prediction with field measurements and suitable alternative for predicting. The methods used: The thesis is empiric - teoretic research and it is consist of two parts. 1) Teoretic part - analytic work 2) Empiric part - metodologic study Results: The nomogram was chosen as a suitable way of prediction. The research was realized at 3 km, 8 km and 10 km on track in the field. The measured times were used to compare the predicted time by software Combatfit with time prediction according to the nomogram. It was found that the nomogram predictions outperforms software Combatfit. Furthermore it was determined tightness of the relationship between predicted and measured time in either process. The tightness of the relationship with the nomogram was very high up to absolute. The tightness of the relationship with the software Comatfit was moderate. This statement applies to test files that was used. It is not entirely clear whether this would achieve the same conclusions for other performance groups. Key words: Software Combatfit, prediction of performance, movement, external conditions, nomograme.
Prediction of performance with software Combatfit
Štefanský, Michal ; Barták, Erik (advisor) ; Kubový, Petr (referee)
Title: Prediction of performance with software Combatfit Aim: Describe functions of software Combatfit. Copmare calculation of Combatfit with terrain measurement. The methods used: The thesis is empiric - teoretic research and it is consist of two parts. 1)Teoretic part - analytic work 2)Empiric part - metodologic study Results: The objective of research was time of run on 8 km trail with 10 kg of external load. Measured time was compared with time of software Combatfit prediction, which is based on entrance exams. Results shows that prediction is noticeably differ from measured time. Also it was investigate rate of relation tightness between prediction and measured time. Relation tightness work out low, against expectation. Prediction of software Combatfit is inaccurate. This statement is certain for test aggregate, nevertheless it is not sure, if same conclusions will be reach for other performance groups. Key words: Software Combatfit, prediction of performance, movement, external conditions, load carriage.
Project management: Data center migration
Šťastný, Jan ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Antonín (referee)
This thesis is trying to review project methodologies which could be used for a data center migration project. The aim of this work is to choose a project methodology for the migration project, based on the methodologies' description. On selected area of project management will be shown the differences between the most suitable methodologies and a practical example of the chosen methodology will be prepared.
